Winnipeg police looking for gold vehicle in Thelma Krull investigation

Winnipeg police are looking for the driver of a gold car who may have information in the Thelma Krull case – possibly without realizing it.

Police said Thursday that they’ve learned of someone who may have been in a position to see something of value and would like to speak to them.

Police are hoping to jog the memory of a person who was driving a gold four-door sedan – believed to be a 2005-2010 import, such as a Toyota, Hyundai or Honda in good condition.

Krull, 57, a Winnipeg grandmother, went missing on this day in 2015. She was last seen leaving her Valley Gardens home for her regular morning walk and never returned.

3 years after she vanished, Winnipeg police find skull belonging to Thelma Krull

In October 2018, a hunter in the RM of Tache found a skull that was identified as Krull’s.

That development came after years of searches, public pleas and fading hope to find Krull alive.
